TEACH to Transform

Our Mission

The TEACH to Transform program within the Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education aims to address the critical need for teachers from underserved populations and among first-generation college students. By recruiting, preparing, and retaining individuals from these backgrounds, the program seeks to empower them to become effective educators in their own communities.

This initiative recognizes the importance of the unique perspectives and experiences that individuals from underserved backgrounds can bring to the classroom. By providing tailored support and resources, the program aims to ensure that these future teachers are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to succeed in their roles and make a positive impact in their communities.

Ultimately, the goal of the TEACH to Transform program is to increase the representation of teachers from underserved populations and foster their leadership and success in the field. Through this initiative, the Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education aims to play a vital role in addressing disparities in education and creating opportunities for all students to thrive.
