The University of Oklahoma is located in Norman, Oklahoma.
Norman lies on Interstate 35 approximately 20 miles south
of Oklahoma City and 180 miles north of Dallas, Texas. Norman
is a typical college town with a population of approximately
90,000. The local area affords a wide variety of activities
including museums, plays, sporting events and numerous outdoor
recreational past times.

major airport is the Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma
City. Travel time from Will Rogers Airport to the University
of Oklahoma is approximately 25 minutes.The easiest travel
route from the airport to Norman is to follow the freeway
signs from the airport to Dallas which leads to I-35 south.
Once on I-35 follow the travel dircetions for students driving
to Norman listed below.
Students
driving to Norman from either the north or the south on I-35
need to take the Highway 9 East exit. Follow Highway 9 for
approximately three to four miles. Turn left on Chautauqua
St. Follow Chautauqua for approximately one mile. The Yorkshire
Apartments will be located on the left-hand side at the corner
of Chautauqua and Imhoff.
All Joint
Course students will reside at the Yorkshire
Apartments during their assignment here. Students
need to check-in with the Joint Course Administrator at the
Yorkshire Apartments the day prior to the scheduled class
starting date. Check-in is typically held in apartment number
507. If special arrival arrangements need to be made, please
contact the course administrator
