Who Should Attend

• If you are a community leader, such as a business professional or an elected official, who needs to become proficient in a given topic area, OU EDI Online will benefit you by providing you knowledge to perform more effectively. Our curriculum of courses will prepare you for a possible future career in the field of economic development. 
• If you are a specialist, a researcher, or an agency staff person, OU EDI Online will enable you to broaden your expertise. 
• If you are a professional economic developer, the OU EDI Online program will apply towards your OU EDI graduation and towards your IEDC educational requirements in preparation for the CEcD exam.

Course Costs and Fees

Registration Fee for each OU EDI-Online Course

IEDC Members: $635    

Non-IEDC Members: $695

• Registration fees are payable to the University of Oklahoma and are due prior to the start of the course.
• The $60 IEDC non-member fee may be credited toward the first year’s membership in IEDC (up to 12 months after the session’s completion.
• You may register up to the start of the course.

Manual

The IEDC Training Manual is recommended (but not required) for the course in which you are enrolling. The manual is a valuable resource for the CEcD exam, and  for your career in economic development. .

Cancellation Policy

Qualified substitutions will be accepted at any time. If you choose to cancel or transfer your credit to another class within the first four weeks of the course, a $150 cancellation fee will apply. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made during the second half of the course or for non-participation. All cancellation or transfer requests must be submitted in writing to edi@ou.edu.
