The Data Institute for Societal Challenges (DISC) and the Oklahoma Aerospace and Defense Innovation Institute (OADII) are happy to announce a joint seed funding competition.
This competition focuses on funding teams that will work on challenges and complexities of supply chain needs in the Department of Defense (DoD) relevant to supply chain management, systems engineering, optimization, and many other topics.
This seed funding opportunity aims to support research teams in generating a proof of concept or initial results and submitting competitive proposals.
DISC/OADII will award up to 20K per team. The expected awards will be 1-3.
Please submit a 1-page summary of the proposed work to jimeney2@ou.edu by Tuesday, May 24th, using this template.
Please include a brief description of how you plan to use the funds. Proposals that do not include this information will not be considered.
Awarded proposals will be announced by June 2nd, 2022.
The team will have six months to use their funds.
At the end of this period, teams will be expected to complete a final report outlining the project’s overall outcomes, including proposals submitted and near-term plans for external proposal submission.
