University of Oklahoma Announces Isbell as New Director of Printing and Mailing Services

NORMAN, OKLA. – Sherri Isbell has been named the next director of Printing and Mailing Services. Isbell has over 30 years of experience at the University of Oklahoma, 20 of those years as part of the senior management team. She has served as the associate director of Printing and Mailing Services since 2018.

Isbell said she is honored to take on the role of director. “I have decades of dedication to this institution and our industry. I bring experience, passion for innovation and a commitment to excellence. I am eager to uphold our legacy of quality service and award-winning operational excellence and work alongside our dedicated team to exceed expectations,” said Isbell. “I embrace the journey ahead as an opportunity to lead, inspire and take our organization to new heights.”

A recognized leader in the industry, Isbell brings a considerable amount of in-plant expertise to the position. She served as the In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association’s (IPMA) International president and was a member of the IPMA Board of Directors for many years. She is one of four people to hold both the Certified Graphic Communication Manager and Certified Mail Manager distinctions.

Isbell will replace long-time director John Sarantakos. “I have had the pleasure of working closely with Sherri and she exemplifies all the things you look for in a leader. I believe she will lead OU Printing and Mailing Services to even greater heights in the future,” said Sarantakos.
