Dr. Lee A. Fithian, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, and associate professor of Architecture in the Gibbs College of Architecture at the University of Oklahoma, was appointed on April 6, 2021, to the IECC Technical Committee of the Oklahoma Uniform Building Code Commission (OUBCC).

The OUBCC created a technical committee to review Chapter 11 of the 2018 edition of the International Residential Code® (IRC®) and the 2015 Edition of the International Energy Conservation Code® (IECC®).

In May, students from the Christopher C. Gibbs College of Architecture's Architecture, Environmental Design, and Interior Design programs participated in an intensive five-day Studio in Residence at Taliesin West, the iconic winter home and desert laboratory of Frank Lloyd Wright.
