Career
Ms. Coppedge currently serves in a senior executive role as the Director of the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center
Area of Expertise
Ms. Coppedge has 25 years of experience working as an engineer and later overseeing engineers in both private industry and government. She worked 14 years at AT&T/Lucent Technologies, serving as the Director of Engineering, before moving to the FAA. Ms. Coppedge currently serves as the Center Director for FAA’s Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC). The MMAC is the second largest contingent of FAA employees outside of WDC, employing 6,300 federal and contract employees, as well as hosting/training around 1,000 Air Traffic Control students.
Interesting Facts
Ms. Coppedge is a certified SCUBA diver and previously helped instruct SCUBA with her father at a local university years ago. She also has traveled extensively internationally for five years.
