SHAREOK is the joint institutional repository for the University of Oklahoma Libraries (OU), Oklahoma State University Libraries (OSU), and the University of Central Oklahoma Max Chambers Library (UCO). It serves as the home for the intellectual output of those institutions and houses digital theses and dissertations, faculty publications, open access publications, open educational resources, institution-specific content, and much more.

Throughout your timeline as a graduate student, there are multiple instances where you will need to be working with the Graduate College in order to meet your degree requirements. Beyond these immediate needs, the Graduate College also offers a number of additional resources you may find useful.

It is the responsibility of graduate students and graduate faculty to familiarize themselves with the general requirements of the Graduate College and with the specific requirements of their particular academic unit. The bulletin facilitates this familiarity by providing detailed explanations of requirements and expectations of graduate study here at OU. In so doing, it also provides information specifically for M.A. students & Ph.D. students.

The home of essentially any and all forms you will need throughout your graduate studies. Here, you can download or access forms regarding student Programs of Study, degree requirements, degree coursework plans, and program reports. This is also where you can access submitted forms or finish drafts by logging in to your Dynamic Forms account.

Graduate Degree Management Specialist (GDMS) |
A graduate degree management specialist (GDMS) responds to student, faculty, and staff academic inquiries, maintains student records, and conducts degree audits for graduate certificates, master's degrees, and doctoral degree programs. Questions for the graduate college often should be sent to your associated GDMS. The GDMS for English is Hannah James. |
The department gives out several recruitment awards, such as the Rader and Sutton fellowships. The majority of our Ph.D. and M.A. students are supported through graduate teaching assistantships in First-Year Composition courses to offset tuition, though students are still responsible for paying University fees.
For ABD students, our department offers dissertation fellowships in additon to those offered by the Graduate College.

OU Advocates is a 24/7 helpline and in-person support service for anyone in our OU community who experiences sexual assault, dating/domestic violence, stalking and/or sexual harassment. We are a free and confidential resource on campus. Any student, staff, or faculty member in the OU community can utilize Advocate services. Graduate Student Life (GSL) exists to help fulfill graduate students' needs and connect them to opportunities both in person and virtually. They support graduate students throughout their time at the University of Oklahoma in reaching their goals. This is done by offering everything from workshops on navigating the spoken and unspoken intricacies of graduate school, also known as the hidden curriculum, to sessions on translating your time in grad school to a resume for employers of your choice, and everything in-between.

The OU Food Pantry's mission is to contribute to the overall health and wellness of the OU campus community by providing FREE supplemental food assistance and other resources to OU students, faculty and staff. The University Counseling Center provides comprehensive mental health services at the University of Oklahoma within the Division of Student Affairs. Their mission is to provide high quality counseling and crisis intervention to our campus community members, consultation and outreach services to campus organizations. | |
The University of Oklahoma International Student Services (OU ISS) has been providing services to international students for over fifty years. We assist more than 2,000 international students and their dependents from over 130 countries. ISS provides advice on issues related to student visas and US immigration regulations, as well as activities and programs to help students get involved in the international, OU, and local communities. | |
The Board of Regents created the Institutional Equity Office on January 24, 2012, to promote and foster the University's commitment to creating and maintaining a community where all persons who participate in University programs and activities can work and learn together in an atmosphere free from discrimination and harassment. The Institutional Equity Office reports to the President and Board of Regents and handles discrimination claims, affirmative action plans, claims involving the Sexual Misconduct, Discrimination and Harassment Policy, and gender equity issues related to athletics. If you are a GTA, it is possible you are a mandated reporter. For more information regarding reporting responsibilities associated with Title IX (which this office oversees) or other concerns, refer to their reporting resource here.
