Beginning the summer of 2023, the Jones Family Welcome Center at Jacobson Hall has been undergoing renovations. This $15 million update, gifted by longtime supporters Jonny and Brenda Jones, will reveal a reimagined Welcome Center that will continue to be the front door to the University of Oklahoma.
The renovations will update the existing 17,300-square-foot structure, improving functionality and preserving the building’s historic character. The project also includes an expansion, which will provide additional space for campus tours, financial presentations, application workshops, one-on-one meetings with admissions counselors, and prospective student recruitment events.
Throughout all renovations, campus tours have continued to ensure future students and supporters can experience the spirit of OU.
