On Campus Events

We want you to explore OU, to really get a hands-on experience with our faculty, staff, and students, and the best way to do that is by attending one of our on-campus events! We offer a variety of events you can attend throughout the year.

Due to the widespread nature of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the University of Oklahoma has canceled all events, tours, and group visits to campus through July 31. Click here to review our FAQ or contact your OU admissions counselor.

As we plan to host these Fall 2020 events on campus for the following dates, we know these times are uncertain. We take the health and safety of the OU campus community, including our prospective students and their guests, very seriously. We will plan to implement social distancing measures and follow recommendations from the CDC for hosting events.

Join us for a LIVE Virtual Sooner Saturday on July 25! Rising high school seniors and prospective transfer students from across the country will learn about OU's admissions process, scholarships, life at OU, and so much more! Additionally, you'll be able to meet with the academic colleges and student life programs you're most interested in learning about. 

For: Soon-to-be high school seniors and prospective transfer students for the fall 2021 incoming class.

Registration Opens August 2020

The Asian American, Pacific Islander, & Desi American (APIDA) Leadership Conference (TALC), is an annual one-day conference which seeks to celebrate and empower student leaders of APIDA identity. TALC is hosted by the Asian American Student Association (AASA) at the University of Oklahoma. At the conference, students will be given the opportunity to develop as leaders, prepare for college, and build their APIDA community.

Registration opens June 2020

High school seniors are invited to come experience an enhanced campus tour with a spirited day of learning everything OU has to offer. During your Senior Visit Day, you will hear from an OU admissions counselor about the incredible programs and opportunities at OU as well as a current panel of student leaders on campus. We will take you all over campus on a student-led tour to showcase our campus housing, classrooms, library, student union, and other must-see spaces. We will also make sure you get a chance to learn more about your academic program of interest and find out all there is to know about student life at OU!

Registration Opens Late July 2020

Scholars Day is designed for high school seniors to explore the premier scholastic opportunities at OU. This day is designed to help you fully see yourself as a student at OU by engaging with dynamic programming. At Scholars Day, you will hear from current student scholars, experience the Honors College, and learn with esteemed faculty members in a mock lecture, gain insight into your desired academic program, and other exciting programs and resources that will help you thrive at OU. In order to attend, you must meet specific academic criteria.

Date: Friday, October 2, 2020 

For: High school seniors with an ACT of 27+ or SAT of 1280+

American Indian Visitation Day (AIVD) is one of the University of Oklahoma's signature opportunities for high school seniors who are part of the Native American community.

For: American Indian high school seniors who apply for admission for the Fall 2021 semester
