Register for Sooner Saturday!

Register for Sooner Saturday, April 29, 2023

Sooner Saturday is the University of Oklahoma’s largest open house. Each year, we welcome hundreds of high school juniors and transfer students to explore Norman campus and discover the endless opportunities waiting for them as part of the OU family.

Attendees and their supporters can tour their academic college of interest, walk through the residence halls, and connect with campus resources like the Fit + Rec, the Gender Equality Center, the Career Center, and the Honors College. This is your chance to see yourself as a future Sooner and how your interests and passions intersect with the University of Oklahoma.

“Sooner Saturday gave me the courage to start my application for the University of Oklahoma. It allowed me to find organizations that piqued my interests and meet new friends who loved them, too. I hope incoming students can apply with their newfound relationships and a full heart for knowledge.”

Gabei Williams, Theatre Design, from McAlester, OK

Connect with your OU Admissions Counselor

No matter where you are in your college search, at OU, we are excited for the opportunity to meet you. Every student is assigned an OU Admissions Counselor. Your admissions counselor is here to help you explore academic options and answer any application or post admissions questions you and your family may have.

Our admissions counselors offer on-campus and remote services, meaning no matter the distance between you and the OU campus, we can still connect with you.

“I chose OU because I felt that Sooner magic from the start! The faculty, staff, and students I met while touring the University were overly welcoming and made me feel at home, right away. This continued throughout my application process, with my admissions counselor, all the way up until move in. Not once did I ever feel forgotten through my admissions process. OU is a big university, but I immediately realized that the community made it feel close-knit and personable.”

Taylor Niehoff, Spanish World Language Education, from Broomfield, CO
