SBME Bioscience Industry Affiliates
Collaboration with our industrial affiliates plays a critical role in our strategy to translate cutting-edge research from the laboratory to the marketplace.
Affiliates have access to a pipeline of talent and technology that can provide solutions to bioscience industry needs. Through meetings and research collaborations with our affiliates, together we drive research outcomes that lead to commercial value. The Stephenson School of Biomedical Engineering works with companies of all sizes on research projects ranging in duration from months to years. Interactions between our more than 100 top-rated faculty and students are maintained throughout the course of the research projects. Importantly, our affiliates help guide and support the OU biomedical engineering student curriculum, which prepares our students to lead the biotechnology industry in Oklahoma and nationally.
