Research Interests:
Dr. Chamberlain’s research interests include the incorporation of socioeconomic impacts into a comprehensive LCA of water system options in emerging economies.
His educational interests include offering the skills, technologies and methodology necessary for appropriate construction and implementation of sustainable water and sanitation projects for emerging regions. He also has an interest in engineering education and real-world applications of Catholic social teaching.

Dr. Hong's research interests include radar/satellite remote sensing precipitation; hydrometeorology, water cycle and climate variability; image analysis, geospatial analysis and artificial intelligence; natural hazard and disaster monitoring, prediction and mitigation; and environmental resource optimization and decision support modeling.

Research Interests:
Dr. Kolar is interested in computational issues in water resources and focuses on the development of efficient, robust algorithms for finite element shallow water models; high performance computing; numerical analysis; equation development using averaging theory; variably-saturated groundwater flow and transport; and applications ranging from hydrodynamic models of estuaries, bays and impoundments to infiltration models.
