A Web Browser is a software tool that allows the user to view information on the Web. A Browser allows the user to interface both text and graphic information on the Web. A Browser is the Internet equivalent of a (primative) Videotelephone. Just now..., the Internet/Web technology allows us to communicate (using Web Browsers) with the written word and small (size..., in terms of megabytes) graphic images. The Netscape Browser not only allows us "access" to E-mail..., (the Netscape E-Mail Window) you can view any Web Page on the Internet by (initially) "typing in" the proper Internet address.

When you "type in" the URL Address..., and press Enter, the Browser requests (from a server) the Web Page (at the address you requested). http://www.ou.edu/
