Internet Navigator Version 4+

Saving Page Links

Netscape will allow you to save a Hypertext Link without actually going to the page.

For example, you can save this link to the Lesson Index 3 page by right clicking on the link. When you right click on it you get the following menu.

If you click on the Save Link As... option it will allow to save the web page as an *html or *.txt file which you can then open the file in your browser or your word processor.

You can also choose to Copy Link Location, this will allow to copy the URL of the link and paste it wherever you want. It is useful if you want to send the link in an email to a friend.

Some general (and obvious) Tips!

From the same menu above (right click on a link) you can add a bookmark to your Bookmark menu, Open the web page in a new window, Open the Link in Composer and much more

Experiment with the right mouse button, it is a very important feature!
