     Here are some of the details around the job site. In the upper left you see the dam core trench. Middle (top) is about a 4 inch bore hole for the explosives (one of hundreds). To the right you can see by the size of the machine, the trench is very big. Lower left shows the different soil and rock strata involved (and the reason a dam core is required), and finally..., the lower right image shows the explosives transport van relative to the upper portion of the trench. |
