Step 1: Acquire your OU I-20 or DS-2019
What do I need to provide to get an I-20/DS-2019?
I-20s and DS-2019s are documents that you need to schedule a visa interview. They list your personal information and certify that you have the funds to cover the cost of attendance. For an I-20 or DS-2019 to be created, you must provide a copy of your passport biographic page and financial documents. A list of how much you need to prove and which financial documents are acceptable can be found here.
Undergraduate (Bachelor) Students
You will receive an email directing you to request your I-20 or DS-2019 once you have been admitted as a freshman or transfer by the International Admissions (Undergraduate) team.
Graduate (Masters, PhD, and Law) Students
You will receive an email directing you to request your I-20 or DS-2019 once you have been admitted by the Graduate Admissions office. A recommendation for admission from your department is insufficient for I-20 or DS-2019 creation.

I have submitted my documents. Now what?
We will email you if we need any more information or documentation.
All students have the option to recieve an electronic I-20, which has the same validity as a paper I-20 and will save time and money by not paying for additional express shipping and waiting for the shipment to arrive.
