Dr. Aaron M. Wendelboe is a Fellow in the University of Oklahoma Center for Intelligence and National Security. Dr. Wendelboe is a Professor of Biostatistics and Epidemiology in the College of Public Health at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He has played an active role in the public health response to COVID-19. Prior to joining OU, he served as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. He has expertise and training in infectious disease transmission dynamics, outbreaks and surveillance. He has published articles in a variety of journals including Emerging Infectious Diseases; PLOS One; American Journal of Medical Sciences; American Journal of Infection Control; and Journal of Clinical Microbiology.
