Samuel Huskey, Ph.D.

Senior Faculty Fellow for Digital Humanities

Sam Huskey is Senior Fellow for the Digital Humanities. He supports faculty through consultations about methods, technologies, project management, and funding opportunities in digital scholarship. He also maintains the Canvas site “Directions in Digital Humanities” and holds weekly office hours for faculty and students working on Digital Humanities projects.

Sam is a professor in the Classics and Letters department. He teaches courses on ancient Greek and Roman history, literature, and philosophy in the original languages and in translation. His research specialties are Latin poetry, philology, textual criticism, especially at the intersection of digital technology and traditional scholarship. He is also the director of the Digital Latin Library.
