Andrew W Mellon Foundation Affirming Multivocal Humanities Grant
The WGS Department at the University of Oklahoma is pleased to announce a grant opportunity for WGS Affiliated Faculty, OU Registered Student Organizations, and OK Network of WGSS Faculty. The department recently received a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation’s program, “Affirming Multivocal Humanities,” whose goal is to advance the study of race, ethnicity, gender, or sexuality at U.S. public universities. We will allocate some of these funds for student-initiated events or programs that support the mission of the WGS Department and the goal of the Affirming Multivocal Humanities Grant.
OU registered organizations, OU affiliated faculty, and OK network faculty may apply for funding for campus events or initiatives in the 2024-25 academic year by filling out the following form. Proposals must be submitted at least four weeks before the event and are due on the first of every month. Applications will be evaluated on a rolling basis; this opportunity will close when the funds allocated run out.
