Bachelor of Arts Curriculum
In addition to the General Education requirements of the University and College, the B.A. in Psychology consists of the following:
A. Three Foundation Courses (10 hours)
1113 Elements of Psychology
2003 Understanding Statistics, or 2113 Research Methods I: Statistics
3114 Research Methods II: Applications and Experimental Design
B. Three Core Courses (9 hours) from:
2403 Introduction to Personality
2603 Lifespan Development OR 3613 Infancy through Adolescence
3203 Cognitive Psychology
3703 Social Psychology
3753 Intro. to Industrial Organizational Psychology
C. Four Depth Courses (12 hours): 3000- or 4000-level PSY courses, no more than two of which may be 3990/4990, and none of which may be from the Group B Core Courses listed above.
D. One PSY Capstone Course (3 hours)
