Hello and Hola everyone! My name is Luis Toro I am very honored and proud of being apart of this very distinguished cohort of Mellon fellows. I am a first generation college student born in Chicago Illinois. My Mother and Father are immigrants from Salvador and Colombia respectively.

My creative activity is being apart of the OU debate team. This is where develop many arguments center around the effects of current political structures on minority populations and how we can develop plans and or advocacy’s to solve the issues.
