Graduate Teaching Assistant. Dept. of Modern Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics. Education as of date Masters of Arts: Spanish from the University of North Texas and Spanish PhD candidate. Professional experience includes two years as Graduate Teaching Assistant for the University of North Texas and 2.5 years as a Graduate Teaching Assistants at the University of Oklahoma. Classes regularly taught are Spanish levels 1115-1225. The specialization targeted its 19th century Spanish Peninsular Literature. Doctoral research interests focus on the role of theater in the (re)construction of the national past of Spain and in the concept of nation in Spain between 1840 and 1870.
