Serra Bardin is a second-year Ph.D. student in the University of Oklahoma's History Department and the Schusterman Center for Judaic and Israel Studies. She received her master's, specializing in American Jewish History, from OU in 2025. Her research broadly focuses on the American Jewish experience in the twentieth century. She is interested in the intersections of Jewish and Yiddish culture, New Age religious movements, and religiously motivated environmental activism. Geographically, she focuses on the American West. When she is not reading, writing, or teaching, she enjoys tending to her vegetable garden and relaxing lakeside.
