The required text for this course is Biology: Science for Life, 4th edition, by Colleen Belk and Virginia Borden Maier (2012, Bejamin-Cummings/Pearson Education Publishing) along with the MasteringBiology® online access.

Here are directions for purchasing these two materials electronically:

  2. Click Register Now > Student

  4. Click "No I need to buy access" then "Next."








  5. Click the bookcover Belk & Borden Maier: Science for Life, 4th Edition









  6. Click on "OK" if you wish to purchase online access to the textbook.
  7. Read their license agreement and privacy policy, then agree and pay to purchase MasteringBiology and eText access.
  8. Once you're in, you can access our class using the COURSE ID. You'll find that on our "Mastering Biology setup" document on our D2L Links page.
