OU’s institutional assessment process is an integrated process aimed at evaluating achievement of its mission and documenting evidence through a system of feedback and continuous improvement. The Office of Academic Assessment currently contributes to the university-wide assessment through coordination of the assessment of the university-wide general education student learning outcomes (SLOs) as well as periodic deployment of and analysis of data from selected institutional surveys. Findings from student performance related to the SLOs and results of student perceptions from the institutional surveys are examined to explore ways of continuously improving student learning and experiences.
