Top Defining Moments in Higher Education:

  • I took four years off between completing my Bachelors and starting my Masters. Taking that time off allowed me to see the world through a different perspective which in turn made me work that much harder when I got back in school. -I love helping people. Working with students and seeing them succeed makes this career so rewarding! -Being the first person in my family to get not just one, but two degrees!

While in college, I experienced:

  • Being undecided on a major.
  • Difficulty building and managing successful study systems.
  • Being a first-generation college student.
  • Overcoming daily challenges through resiliency.
  • Academic motivation challenges.
