Expectations and Benefits
Students establish the agenda with their coach for each session as they are the expert of their own lives.
The coaching relationship establishes a safe and neutral space for students to acquire confidence in managing life stressors outside of academic life: family care, health challenges, financial stress, job demands, and life setbacks.
Students learn vital strategies, such as building positive time management and research systems, avoidance of procrastination, and balancing competing responsibilities.
Students become empowered and understand how to unite their major and career choices to their passions and individual values.
