Applications for the fall semester are accepted on a rolling basis until the February 1st deadline. OU has an early action deadline of Nov. 1 for students highly interested in OU. Most admission decisions for UWC applicants are made in February and March.
All new first-year UWC students begin in the Fall semester which starts in mid-August.
UWC applicants are reviewed competitively year to year based on the pool of applicants that year; therefore, there is no stated minimum IB score that guarantees admission.
OU guarantees to cover 100% of financial need for every first-time UWC applicant who is offered first-year (freshmen) admission.
The funding is a combination of Davis UWC Scholars Program grants and OU scholarships. Davis Program and OU funding are good for four years (eight fall and spring semesters).
The majority of Davis UWC Scholars at OU are on full scholarship, meaning their tuition, fees, books, housing and meals, health insurance (all required academic expenses) and taxes levied on the Davis UWC grants are covered by scholarship.
Admitted students must accept their admission and scholarship offer officially by May 1.
