Paul Hoang is a member of the Enrollment Management team, where he serves as Digital Developer. Paul works to develop a platform through which OU can better connect with its current students. A key element of this goal is to improve communications regarding scholarships, financial aid, the MoneyCoach program, and enrollment.

Before joining the University of Oklahoma, Paul worked in the Office of Admissions at Oklahoma State University—Oklahoma City. As an Admissions Specialist, Paul helped thousands of students in beginning their academic careers by processing their college applications and guiding them through enrollment. Paul also streamlined the admission process by leading the university’s implementation of a new customer relationship management system in Technolutions Slate.

What advice do you have for prospective students?

Talk about college with everyone you know. Your friends, family, teachers, coworkers, and especially your admissions counselors—all of these people have their own unique perspectives on what it means to be a college student. They can give you all sorts of fun tidbits, from the best places to study on campus, to the most interesting student organizations to join, to the tastiest spots you can grab a bite at. Connecting with others is key in making your university experience enjoyable and successful.
