As a student, where did you leave your mark on campus?

I left my mark on campus by actively contributing to the African Student Association as the Programming Chair, where I orchestrated events that fostered a sense of community among African students. Additionally, as the Judicial Chair for the International Advisory Committee, I ensured that our operations were fair and compliant, leaving a legacy of integrity and inclusiveness within the international student community.

Define the OU family in your own words.

To me, the OU Family is a network of individuals bound by a shared commitment to excellence and mutual support. It's a place where diversity is celebrated, and everyone is encouraged to bring their unique perspectives to the table. The sense of belonging that comes with being part of this family is powerful, and it’s something that drives you to achieve your best while also lifting others.

When was the moment you felt the greatest Sooner pride?

I felt the greatest Sooner pride when I successfully presented my research on outlier detection in data streams, as well as my research comparing quantum computing to classical data driven algorithms and their applications. These moments not only highlighted my personal achievements but also underscored the university's commitment to advancing cutting-edge research. Additionally, during my internships, I had the privilege of meeting OU alumni who guided and supported me, exemplifying the strength of the Sooner network and leading me toward success in my career path.

What was the greatest gift you took with you after graduation?

The greatest gift I will take with me after graduation is the invaluable network of mentors, peers, and lifelong friends who have supported and challenged me throughout my journey. These relationships have not only shaped my professional growth but also enriched my personal life in countless ways.

Reveal one secret about campus.

The are more underground tunnels than you think...

What is your favorite OU tradition?

My favorite OU tradition is the collective spirit of the Boomer Sooner chant during football games. The energy and unity in those moments are unmatched.

What advice do you have for prospective students?

My advice to prospective students is to embrace every opportunity OU offers—whether it’s in the classroom, through student organizations, or by taking on leadership roles. Each experience adds to your personal and professional growth, and the connections you build here will support you long after you graduate.
