As a student, where did you leave your mark on campus?

I was involved in the OU School of Art. I participated in several exhibitions in the Lightwell Gallery. I was also a drummer in a band. I remember playing shows at the Cate Rock Garden and the food court of the OMU.

Define the OU Family in your own words.

The OU Family is AWESOME! I can't think of a better group of people on a more beautiful campus. I feel lucky every day that I get to work at OU.

When was the moment you felt the greatest Sooner pride?

I think my greatest Sooner pride has been as a staff member these past few years. Getting to be on campus and work for the benefit of the students and university has been very fulfilling.

What was the greatest gift you took with you after graduation?

I think OU prepared me to be successful in the professional world. I also met my wife while attending OU, and we now have three beautiful daughters.

Reveal one secret about campus.

Weekends are an awesome time to explore campus with fewer people. Take your dog or your camera and go for a walk. That's the best time to soak in the beauty of campus.

What is your favorite OU tradition?

I love Saturday game days. There's always great energy in the air! I also love the special meals at Couch Restaurants. The Mardi Gras, Medieval, and Holiday Meals are always something special.

What advice do you have for prospective students?

Find what you like to do and get involved. OU & Norman has everything if you look for it!
