Software Development and Integration

What is Software Development and Integration?

In today’s rapidly evolving technology landscape, the need for skilled software developers who can integrate programming and data with cutting edge technologies in machine learning and Large Language Model AI has never been greater.

The Bachelor of Science degree in software development and integration from the OU Polytechnic Institute is designed to equip students with the skills they need, like machine learning, embedded systems, and cloud computing, to be proficient software developers. There are multiple pathways to study software development and integration at OU. Interested high school seniors can apply to receive a four-year bachelor's degree on the OU-Norman campus, while students with at least 24 credit hours and a 2.5 GPA interested in degree completion can apply for the program on the OU-Tulsa campus. By following the OUPI learning-by-doing model, students in the software development and integration degree program will be prepared to tackle a wide range of challenges in new and creative ways.
