The Military Connected and Veteran Student Success Center (MVC) provides a supportive environment tailored to the unique needs of military-connected students, offering services such as academic advising, financial counseling, wellness support and assistance with VA benefits like the GI Bill®. Additionally, we will host peer support groups, workshops, and networking events to help foster a sense of community and belonging. By addressing the specific challenges faced by military-connected individuals, the MVC will play a crucial role in ensuring these students’ academic and personal success.
The MVC at the University of Oklahoma serves as a dedicated resource hub for active-duty, reserve, and National Guard service members, veterans, and their families. We cultivate leaders who will thrive in their careers and contribute positively to the OU community and beyond.
The MVC at the University of Oklahoma will empower and support military-connected and veteran students in their pursuit of academic excellence and personal growth. We are committed to fostering a welcoming environment that recognizes the unique experiences and strengths of our students. Through comprehensive resources, tailored programs, and a dedicated community, we aim to facilitate successful transitions into higher education.
