2026 Academic Technology Expo

The 2026 Expo has concluded!  We want to thank all of the volunteers, presenters, and attendees at this year's event.  We will work on editing and preparing the recorded sessions shortly.  Once the playlist is ready, we will post it to this website!  

 

It's almost time for the 2026 Academic Technology Expo (ATE)!

The OU Academic Technology Expo (ATE) is a collaborative event designed to enhance interdisciplinary technology use and effectiveness across the University of Oklahoma.

This year, we are spotlighting how faculty are advancing accessibility and student success through innovative practices as well as leveraging Al tools in their teaching.

We’re excited to welcome Devon Persing as the Friday keynote speaker for the 2026 Academic Technology Expo! Devon is a leading voice in digital accessibility, with over a decade of experience helping organizations build inclusive, sustainable technology practices. As author of The Accessibility Operations Guidebook, she brings deep expertise in accessibility strategy, education, and operations.

Schedule Highlights:

  • January 15: Half-day of virtual sessions 
    • Zoom webinar link will be shared on Sched site 10 minutes before event begins
  • January 16: Full-day in-person sessions on the Norman campus
    • Thurman J. White Forum building at 1704 Asp Avenue.  
    • Link to Google Map 
    • Breakfast and lunch are provided to registered attendees!
    • First 20 people through check-in receive a swag bag! 
    • A photo booth and Plinko game will be held in the Wepa Lounge!
