Academic Tech Expo

The OU Academic Technology Expo (ATE) is a collaborative event designed to enhance interdisciplinary technology use and effectiveness across the University of Oklahoma.

Proposed Schedule  Highlights:

• January 14: Half-day of virtual sessions 
  • Zoom webinar link will be shared on site 10 minutes before event begins
• January 15: Full-day in-person sessions on the Norman campus
  • Thurman J. White Forum building at 1704 Asp Avenue.

  • Breakfast and lunch are provided to registered attendees!
  • A photo booth and Plinko game will be held in the Wepa Lounge!

We’re excited to welcome Hannah Kinsey as the Friday January 15th keynote speaker for the 2027 Academic Technology Expo!

Hannah Kinsey is the Government Affairs & Community Relations Specialist at NewView Oklahoma, where she works to promote accessibility and inclusion for people who are blind or have low vision. Before stepping into her current role, she worked in NewView’s accessibility department, testing websites and remediating digital documents to ensure accessibility for all users.

As someone who is blind, Hannah brings both lived experience and technical knowledge to her work. When she’s not advocating for access, she leads worship at her church and spends time with her Airedale terrier, Dolly.
