The Latin America Sustainability Initiative (LASI) is a program developed to catalyze, support, and scale collaborations with partners in Latin America to address complex environmental, human health, and societal challenges across the hemisphere.
LASI, administered within the University of Oklahoma’s Institute for Resilient Environmental and Energy Systems, connects universities, companies, research institutions, non-profit organizations, and government entities to identify sustainable development challenges and build interdisciplinary, inclusive teams to work on solutions that improve human well-being and the environments in which we live.
