The demolition will make way for the construction of phase one of the university’s first-year housing project, in which two new residence halls will be built in its place. New Sooner Orientation (NSO) is a required part of every first-year student’s successful transition to OU. You'll meet with your academic advisor, enroll in your first semester of classes, and learn about resources you may need throughout your time at OU! Options for NSO are provided both in person and virtually in June and July 2025. Your parents/supporters are encouraged to attend. Before you can register for NSO you will need to set up your OU account and email and submit your enrollment deposit!
