Define the OU Family in your own words.

The OU Family is what it means to be home. You walk on campus, you feel the tradition and the genuine concern from those around you. 

When was the moment you felt the greatest Sooner pride?

I felt the greatest Sooner pride on the day of my graduation—knowing that I was able to become a part of something greater and help support those around me fulfill their dreams. The greatest point of pride and joy I had was showing my son that no matter what obstacles you face, you can still succeed. 

Reveal one secret about campus.

In the morning before anyone is bustling around campus, it is one of the most peaceful and beautiful places in Norman.

One piece of encouragement I'd give a student applying to college is...

Don’t be afraid to ask questions, ALWAYS apply for scholarships if you have the ability, and don’t doubt yourself. Always ask or you will never know. “Doubt comes in at the window when inquiry is denied at the door.” –Benjamin Jowett

What is your favorite OU tradition?

Attending a home football game on campus whether it is Bedlam, Homecoming, or the spring game!
