Cybersecurity

What is Cybersecurity?

In our increasingly technology reliant world, cyber threats are a major concern. With so much sensitive data going online, advanced cybersecurity measures must be created to protect sensitive data. And those measures must be monitored to ensure their efficacy.

The Bachelor of Science degree in Cybersecurity from the OU Polytechnical Institute on the OU-Tulsa campus was created specifically to help meet industry needs by providing students in Northeast Oklahoma a world-class education to excel in these critical roles. With almost 4,000 unfilled industry jobs in Oklahoma, the cybersecurity program is tailor-made for the urgent workforce needs by using input and support from local foundations and private sector partners.
