Graduate Research Assistant

Lee is a doctorate level graduate research assistant at the Zarrow Center. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Special Education at OU. Lee earned his Bachelors degree in economics at Northern Illinois University, and completed his Masters degree in Special Education from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS). He spent three years working with adults with disabilities in a supported employment project at UCCS. Lee taught Special Education for 9 years in various schools in Colorado and Montana. His experience includes extensive work with students with severe/profound educational support needs in public school settings and work with students with severe emotional/behavioral issues at a residential treatment center. He currently serves as grant coordinator for the Student-Directed Transition Planning project.
