COVID-19 Compliance Training – Norman Campus

January 19, 2021

Dear Norman Campus Community,

As the first day of the spring semester approaches, the Norman campus is implementing a short mandatory online training program that reviews the latest information on COVID-19 and on the university’s interventions and policies.

How to Complete the Training
Starting January 19, all students, faculty, and staff on the Norman campus will be asked to complete a required COVID-19 Compliance Training. Information regarding how to access the COVID-19 Compliance Training will be emailed beginning on January 19 from OnPoint LMS (Learning System Administrator – noreply@sumtotalsystems.com).

After logging into OnPoint, the course can be accessed under “Take Required Training” and should take approximately 10 minutes. The training is to be completed 30 days from the date of assignment.

All students who complete the online training in the first 30 days will be entered to win one of 1,000 $5 Sooner Sense credits. Student Affairs will list the winners on the Student Affairs website and will automatically apply the Sooner Sense credits to the winning Sooner Card accounts.

About the Training
The COVID-19 Compliance Training was developed by a team of professionals from OU’s Health Sciences Center and Tulsa campuses. The decision was made to incorporate this training requirement after consultation with deans and vice presidents, medical and public health professionals, the Special Pathogens Preparedness and Operations Team (SPPOT)/Emergency Operations Committee (EOC), and the Executive Policy Group.

Students and employees on the OU-Tulsa and OU Health Sciences Center campuses were asked to complete the COVID-19 Compliance Training during the fall 2020 semester and do not need to retake it at this time.

Thank you for your commitment to understanding current best practices and policies designed to mitigate the risks associated with COVID-19, and for your service and leadership on behalf of the university.
