As one of only two residential type 1 diabetes summer camp programs in Oklahoma, it is a vital resource to Oklahomans who have type 1 diabetes. More than 100 campers with type 1 diabetes gather for 5 days, and 4 nights of fun at the Summer Camp program.

In addition to Summer Camp, the program also offers Camp Blue Hawk: Teen Retreat, a weekend program specifically geared toward teens with type 1 diabetes and their unique needs.

Approximately 70% of campers receive some type of scholarship to attend one of our camping programs, making possible a once in a lifetime experience.
