OU Recognized for Student Happiness

The University of Oklahoma has been recognized as one of the top three campuses in the nation with the “Happiest Students."

NORMAN – The University of Oklahoma has been recognized as one of the top three campuses in the nation with the “Happiest Students”, according to The Princeton Review’s latest rankings of the 382 best colleges. OU was also ranked #11 for “Best Quality of Life.”

“I am very pleased—but not surprised—by this terrific recognition,” said OU President David L. Boren. “There is a special joy that permeates our campus. Our students respect and care for one another. Our dedicated faculty and staff always put students first and serve them selflessly on a daily basis. I commend all members of the Sooner family on this achievement.”

The Princeton Review compiled their 2018 rankings based on surveys from students at all 382 schools that were evaluated. OU also received recognition as #5 for “Students Pack the Stadiums” and #14 for “Best College Library.” The library ranking refers to OU’s flagship Bizzell Memorial Library, which was recently designated as one of the 18 most stunning university libraries in the world by Architectural Digest.
