1. UPB Dine and Palette

Need an escape from the stress of college? Come join UPB from 6-9 p.m. Friday in the Molly Shi Ballroom located in the Oklahoma Memorial Union for a night that's sure to calm your nerves. Wonders of travel, food, friends and art are just some of the things you'll find. You can even test your artistic skills and create your own masterpiece with the help of an instructor. You don’t want to miss it. (We know we don’t.)

2. Chocolate Festival

Hurry up, week – the Norman Firehouse Art Center Chocolate Festival is Saturday!

Ranked third among food festivals in the U.S. by the Food Network, the Firehouse Art Center’s annual Chocolate Festival is sure to please all appetites. General admission tickets are $25 for 10 chocolate samples from different vendors offering all different types of chocolate dishes. This is the perfect place to go into a chocolate overload, if you ask us.

3. Free Movie: ‘Suffragette’

Free movie alert! UPB presents ‘Suffragette’ at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Friday along with showings at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday in Meacham Auditorium. ‘Suffragette’ is a film about the early feminist movement starring Carey Mulligan and Meryl Streep. Grab your friends and bring your student ID for free admission to find out if the women make it out alive.

4. Men’s Gymnastic Meet

Come out and watch the reigning NCAA Men’s Gymnastic Champions as they strive to keep ahold of the No. 1 spot against Iowa and UC Berkeley at 5 p.m. on Saturday at the Lloyd Noble Center. You might want to bring a friend to pick up your jaw as it hits the floor while — we are talking about the very talented OU Men’s Gymnastic team, here.

5. Jillian Michaels at the Civic Center

You may know her as the woman who yells on the TV show "‘The Biggest Loser" or from her new hit series "Just Jillian." Jillian Michaels is in Oklahoma City at 2 p.m. this Sunday at the OKC Civic Center Music Hall to inspire towards a healthy life. General admission tickets can be purchased for $35. This is the perfect way to motivate you back into the New Year’s resolution that, to your dismay, has started to fade away even before the end of January.
