"Dancing with the Stars"

OU’s biggest stars will cha-cha, tango and twirl the night away as they compete in UPB’s third annual “Dancing with the Stars” event at 7 p.m. Friday in Meacham Auditorium. Check out UPB’s Facebook event ahead of time to get an idea of which couple you’ll be rooting for.

"The Addams Family"   

If you grew up watching the wonderfully weird Wednesday and Pugsley Addams on “The Addams Family,” or can just appreciate a good ol’ dysfunctional family, you won’t want to miss this. Catch a performance of “The Addams Family” for $10 at 7:30 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at The Sooner Theatre.

36th Annual Friends Booksale

We know what you’re thinking: I’m going to work a booksale into my weekend plans? Just hear us out: This larger-than-life booksale is not for the faint of heart. In fact, they host it at the Oklahoma State Fair Park because it’s that stinkin’ big. You’ll find books, DVDs, vinyl and hardcore bibliophiles toting their treasures around in rolling luggage. Get there between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday or Sunday.

"The Twilight Zone"

Step into "The Twilight Zone" at Opolis in Norman Thursday night. Sooners 21 and over can enjoy cocktails and appetizers, all while zoning out to episodes of the American sci-fi classic on the big screen. It all starts at 8. And guess what? It’s free.
