1. A Sip of Spain wine tasting
Sounds like a Sunday Funday for over-21 Sooners at Blu Fine Wine & Food. The Crawford Avenue restaurant hosts a wine tasting at 4 p.m. that’s sure to transport your taste buds to Spain. Cost is $15. Make reservations by calling 405-360-4258.
2. Oklahoma Fancy Dancers
Fancy Dancers? Color us intrigued. The University of Oklahoma School of Music hosts the Oklahoma Fancy Dancers, a Native American dance troupe made of of powwow champions, at 8 p.m. Thursday in Sharp Concert Hall in Catlett Music Center. Cost is $5 for OU students ahead of time and $10 at the door.
3. ‘Lost in Time’ corn maze
OK, so you’ve seen the Bedlam-themed corn maze in Chickasha, but have you heard of the dino-themed maze at P Bar Farms? The farm teamed up with our very own Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History to create this “Lost in Time” labyrinth. See it this weekend in Hydro, Oklahoma, about an hour and 20 minutes northwest of Norman (road trip!).
4. OU Hockey takes on Lindenwood
The OU Hockey team hopes to pull out a couple wins against Lindenwood when they face off Friday and Saturday at home. And if we know anything about these athletes, they like a big crowd, so grab some friends and get ready to see a great match this weekend.
5. ‘Inside Out’ at the Meacham
Get ready for all the feels as the OU Union Programming Board debuts ‘Inside Out’ in Meacham Auditorium Friday night. Catch it at 6 p.m., 9 p.m. and midnight. Make sure to take friends who are comfortable seeing your cry face.
