1. 2nd Friday Norman + 2 free shows
2nd Friday Norman and the 2nd Friday Concert Series are on point this month as they host two free shows with North Meets South from 8-10 p.m. at the Brewhouse, 108 W. Main St., and Heartbreak Radio from 7-9 p.m. at Mainsite, 122 E. Main St. We’re also loving these tiny paintings by Corrie Alvaro that you can find at the Social Club.

2. Print-palooza
With a name as intriguing as Print-palooza, this art-fill event is sure to get your creativity flowing. The Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art hosts a printmaking demo at 2 p.m. Saturday on the third floor of the School of Art & Art History. But first, check out the gallery talk by Heather Ahtone, associate curator of Native American and Non-Western Art, at noon in FJJMA’s Ellen and Richard L. Sandor Photography Gallery. Stick around for the 1 p.m. panel discussion in the Mary Eddy and Fred Jones Auditorium.

Want to work up a sweat? The Italian Club hosts a pick-up soccer game from 2-3 p.m. Friday at Lions Park. We suggesting cooling off and refueling with a smoothie at The Earth Cafe after, but hey, to each his own.
