Automobile Alley Shop Hop

Did someone say free mini cupcakes? We’re so there. Get yourself some free li'l sweets from Sara Sara Cupcakes at this month’s Shop Hop event from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday in OKC’s Automobile Alley, then get decked out in glow paint for glow-in-the-dark yoga at Hidden Dragon Yoga. Don’t stop there; pop into each of the 15 participating businesses for drink and dinner specials.

Wine Tasting at blu

Calling all Sooners 21 and over: blu has a little something special planned for your Sunday afternoon. Make your reservations now for the 4 p.m. wine tasting that will feature six samples plus finger foods. Cost is $15 a person. Get on the it-list by calling 405-360-4258.

Center of the Universe Festival Preview Tour

The Center of the Universe Festival, a two-day, non-profit music and arts experience held in Tulsa’s booming Brady Arts District, will make a pitstop in Norman Thursday night. The CouFest team presents DJ Fishr Pryce of Dallas at 10 p.m. and the Brooklyn-based band CHAPPO at midnight inside Seven47 — all for free.

FREDTalks at Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art

Here’s a little something for our artsy Sooners: Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art kicks off a night of discussion at 5:30 p.m. Thursday with its FredTalks event (We see what ya did there, FJJMA). In response to Slow Art Day, three speakers will consider the benefits of taking a slower, more contemplative approach in museums. The program is free and open to all. 

OU Mom’s Day at Sam Noble

Woah, mama! Free admission to the Sam Noble Museum for all OU students accompanied by their mothers this weekend. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. What a way to say “thanks, ma!”
