Sooner Idol Auditions
OK, we’re making a plea to those musically talented Sooners out there. Don’t be shy! Share that voice at the UPB sponsored Sooner Idol auditions, taking place from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Come down to the Scholar’s Room at the Union to try out for the April 24 competition! Check out the calendar for more specific event details.
Selma
Chances are that you missed the buzz-worthy film while it was in theaters. No worries as Film Series features the historical flick (for FREE) at 6 p.m., 9 p.m. and midnight Friday in Meacham auditorium.
Oklahoma Festival Ballet
The university’s resident dance company Oklahoma Festival Ballet is gracing us with yet another spectacular preformance. Come and see the dedicated dancers in a program featuring the classic “The Kingdom of the Shades” and other gorgeous productions. Contact the Fine Arts Box Office for ticket info! Students recieve a ticket discount with ID.
Paseo District First Friday
Is there a better way to enjoy this spring weather than hanging out at OKC’s Paseo District First Friday? Take in the art, the music and complementary refreshments starting a 6 p.m. Friday! See here for more information about the event and other Paseo offerings.
OU Baseball
You have not one, not two, but THREE chances to catch the Sooners take on Kansas this weekend. Watch as the home team takes on the competitors at 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday at Mitchell Park. Visit here for ticket info! No word on the availability of Cracker Jacks.
