NORMAN – University of Oklahoma junior Isaac K. Hill, Midwest City, has been named the recipient of the 2015 Melvin C. Hall Leadership/Scholarship Award. The award, created in 1999 by the OU Board of Regents, recognizes students who have helped make campus diversity a true strength of OU, and was presented at the campus awards ceremony April 17.
Hill is the 17th student to win the award, for which he received a cash prize. Additionally, his name will be engraved on the Melvin C. Hall Leadership plaque in Oklahoma Memorial Union. Award selection is based on leadership, scholarship, service to the university community, campus involvement and an essay.
Hill, who holds a 3.05 GPA, is a chemical engineering and pre-med/biomedical major.
